If I come to your repair shop for routine scheduled maintenance work, will my manufacturer’s warranty be void?

No.  If you come to us for routine scheduled maintenance work, your manufacturer’s warranty will not be void. It is against the law for your car dealer & manufacturer to refuse you warranty work because you had routine scheduled maintenance performed at an independent repair shop. (Magnuson-Moss Act (1975) USC Title 15-Chapter 50 Section 2301-2312)

Where are you located and what are your hours of operation?

Our address is 421 East Rochambeau Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23188. We are located right beside Pierce’s BBQ, further down from Wal-Mart and the Great Wolfe Lodge. Our phone number is 757-220-9660.
We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What makes of cars do you repair?

We repair Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Mini, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Saab and Volvo.

What kind of services do you offer?

We offer the services of Factory Maintenance Schedules, Oil Changes, Performance Tune-Ups, Diagnostic and Programming services, Software Updates, Tire Installations/Wheel Rotations/Tire Balancing, State Inspections, Electronic Wheel Alignment, A/C Service, Automatic Climate Control, and Transmission Repairs. Please call for additional services.

Can you repair any cosmetic damages/bodywork to my car?

No, we only offer mechanical repair services.

If I purchase an after-market warranty, can it be used at your repair shop?

Yes, as long as it is cleared with the warranty company first and all repairs are pre-authorized.

What is included in the “Enviro/suppl” cost on my repair order?

This cost is included to cover various Shop Supplies and Environmental Fees. For the Shop Supplies, it includes many of the miscellaneous materials needed to repair your car, which cannot be charged directly to your work order, because the cost of the unit package is greater than the amount used.  For this reason, these materials are billed directly to you as a percent of the parts and labor charge, as this is the most equitable way of charging for these materials.  Included in the list of materials used in the course of repairs to your car, may be the following:

For the Environmental Fees, the costs accrued with the hazardous materials associated with the auto repair business are included.  As these expenses cannot be charged directly to a repair order as they occur, it is necessary to charge out a flat rate on each repair order in order to keep our labor rate as low as possible.  Below is a partial list of some of these charges imposed on us:

  • Removal of Waste Oil
  • Removal of Anti-Freeze
  • Removal of Lead-Acid Batteries
  • Proper disposal of Parts Cleaner
  • Proper Ventilation for Technicians doing Brake Service
  • Proper Documentation of Materials Used and Stored
  • Proper Training of Employees and Vendors
  • Very Large Insurance Policy to Cover any Hazardous Material Accident
  • Underground Storage Tank Testing

Are there any fees associated with the purchase of new tires?

Yes, when you purchase new tires and you want us to dispose your old tires then there is a Proper Tire Disposal Fee of $3.00 per tire.

What if I need to get home while my car is being repaired?

If you need to get home after dropping off your car or need a ride to come pick up your car, just give us a call and we’ll arrange to provide you with a ride.

Is there anywhere to sit while waiting for my car?

Yes! We have a comfortable customer lounge area, complete with flat screen TV, free wireless Internet, complimentary coffee, and homemade cookies.

Do you offer any sales services?

Yes! For your next European Car, look no further! We offer our special order services to help you find the perfect car. Just come to us with the make, model, and specifications of the car you want and we will find it for you.
